Shaved beef can really be a great way to break up the monotony of ground beef. Personally, I like my steak cooked fresh usually grilled or on the stove/broiler style. I picked up some shaved beef because it was on sale. I am SOOO glad that I did. This is my new favorite red meat! You can prepare it a million different ways. This is my version of a non-sauce BBQ (I guess haha)….crock pot style! 

Here are my ingredients:

  • Dale’s Steak seasoning
  • Garlic Pepper
  • Bogner’s BBQ seasoning
  • 2lbs of shredded beef

  1. Put shredded beef into the crock pot and season generously. I don’t measure, but I do suggest seasoning more than you think is good. You can always add seasoning on the meat after it’s cooked and on your plate if you’d like. You will learn how much seasoning you like as you make a few pots. 
  2. Set to 6 hours. 
  3. Serve immediately or save for later.
